A week after a report found a series of blunders led to delays in responding to the accident in Manhattan that killed 4-year-old Ariel Russo, the city announced it will publish 911 response times online. Mayor Bloomberg said the city will now make public weekly tallies on average response times for all emergency calls, including EMS calls, fires, and crimes in progress. The announcement comes on the heels of a Dec. 22 report that found a four-minute delay in responding to little Ariel's death in June was caused by "mishandling" of calls.
