A pair of art collectors filed suit against a Manhattan auction house on Thursday for failing to return two rare pieces of original Theodor Geisel, aka Dr. Seuss, artwork. The pieces were preliminary covers for the beloved author's 1986 classic "You're Only Old Once: A Book for Obsolete Children," one of the few Seuss books he did expressly for adults.

Ed Stanco is making a big bet on Friday. Not at the windows, but on the track. The 63-year-old put up $100,000 so his filly Princess of Sylmar could run in Friday's $2 million Distaff in hopes of winning Horse of the Year honors.
