PTA groups raise $53M for city's best-funded schools Oct 31st 2013, 06:00, by BEN CHAPMAN Parent-teacher associations from the city's 30 most well-endowed public schools collected nearly $53 million in donations over the past five years, according to an analysis by the advocacy group Families for Excellent Schools.
