French baker fights robber with broom Dec 30th 2013, 15:42, by DAVID HARDING A brave female French baker took on an armed robber who was pointing a gun in her face, using just a broom. The incident happened in a boulangerie in Paris. The gun-wielding robber broke into the Le Petit Duc, in the southeastern suburbs of the French capital, causing the woman to initially to run to the back of the store.
