And you thought Manhattan real estate was rough. Some Tokyo residents are giving up windows, space and a whole lot more to cram their lives into coffin-like boxes in "geki-sema share houses." The not-for-claustrophobes, closet-like rooms still set a renter back about $600 a month and offer little, if anything, in the way of amenities.
