Strange sounds haunt the new album by Lost in the Trees: Something crumpled or unwrapped, distant footsteps in muddy ground, a clicking on wood. "I was trying to create an abstract environment to evoke a place in-between," says bandleader Ari Picker. "It's meant to make you feel unhinged."
