The Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon in Beverly Hills saw "12 Years a Slave" star Lupita Nyong'o talk about learning to be comfortable in her own skin, while guests at Variety's first Unite4:Humanity Gala heard Bill Clinton speak about his affection for Nelson Mandela.
