Strategist wants de Blasio discounts to be investigated Aug 27th 2013, 06:30, by ERIN DURKIN A rival's camp is asking the city Campaign Finance Board to investigate whether Bill de Blasio's campaign broke the law by accepting improper discounts from a convicted felon. A Bill Thompson operative filed a complaint with the board Monday, after the Daily News reported that de Blasio apparently got discount rates for fundraisers at the Meatpacking District restaurant Villa Pacri.
