Homeless man holds up bank for $1 Aug 28th 2013, 11:53, by lee moran A homeless Oregon man held up a bank for just $1 so he'd be sent to jail and could receive medical care, police said. Timothy Dean Alsip, 50, allegedly entered a Bank of America branch outside Portland at 10 a.m. Friday and handed over a note which read: "This is a hold up.
