NYC federal judge: $1M too much for 'abusive' dad's kids Aug 27th 2013, 06:30, by JOHN MARZULLI A Brooklyn, N.Y., federal judge has drastically reduced the nearly $1 million payout for emotional damages that he awarded to the three children of an abusive father who died after a bungled gastric bypass surgery.
