Mets Insider: Ruben hits the leadoff spot Apr 29th 2013, 02:21 There is one flickering sign of life in the Mets dormant lineup recently and it's Ruben Tejada. After his 2-for-3 day vs. the Phillies Sunday (he had two of the Mets three hits), Tejada is now 6-for-17 (.353) over his last five games. His two doubles Sunday bring his season total to seven.
