Zack Wheeler is honest about it. Pitching in the dry, thin air and high altitude of the Pacific Coast League for Triple-A Las Vegas has been nothing short of culture shock for him. Seemingly routine fly balls sometimes carry over the fence. Perhaps even more significant, the baseballs are slicker, harder to control, messing with Wheeler's head.
