Going into Sunday's game against Stepinac, Holy Cross coach Tom Pugh was well aware that the forecast was calling for rain - and he didn't mind it at all. In fact, Pugh and his team knew that sloppy conditions could help in the effort to slow down the Crusaders' offense, led by quarterback Dan Hoffer.
