EYES IN THE SKY NYPD craft's height of tech  Jun 29th 2012, 00:59 The NYPD has a new weapon in its arsenal — a high-tech helicopter equipped with a thermal-imaging camera and radiation detectors. The Bell 412EO can carry up to 10 people and will primarily be used in air and sea rescues, such as the February mission in which police saved two West Point cadets stranded in the dark atop Storm King Mountain.
