Former New York Racing Association president/CEO Charles Hayward was in attendance on Friday at Belmont Park. Hayward was fired by the NYRA on May 4, along with senior vice president and general counsel Patrick Kehoe, for their alleged role in knowingly overcharging gamblers for 15 months on various exotic wagers.
