Spooked residents in Connecticut on Tuesday found a human skeleton beneath the roots of a tree felled by Hurricane Sandy. The massive oak, planted in New Haven in 1909 in honor of a local Civil War hero, was uprooted on Monday night as Sandy roared across the East Coast packing 80 mph winds, local TV station WTNH reported.
