Big assist  for Brooklyn student paralyzed while diving  Jul 30th 2012, 00:42 AN ADVOCACY GROUP for the disabled stepped forward Sunday to help paralyzed Brooklyn teen Tara Accetta after a Daily News story about a diving accident that left her unlikely ever to walk again. Brooklyn Center for Independence for the Disabled officials will help Accetta's parents win a state grant of up to $25,000 to make their Old Mill Basin house wheelchair-accessible for their daughter.
