Lost WW II letter returned to rightful owner in just one day May 31st 2013, 20:13 A 70-year-old love letter sent from a World War II lieutenant to his wife at a Greenwich Village apartment is finally making its way to its rightful owners. In February the yellowed letter dated 1944 from Camp Legeune, North Carolina, mysteriously appeared in 27-year-old actress Abbi Jacobson's mailbox launching her self-propelled campaign to reunite it with its owners.
